Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is aeroponic farming?

Aeroponic farming is a method of growing plants without soil. Instead, plants are suspended in the air, and their roots are misted with nutrient-rich water. This method allows for faster growth, less water usage, and more efficient use of space, making it more sustainable than traditional farming practices.

2. Why are Misted Roots vegetables healthier?

Our produce is grown using advanced aeroponic technology, ensuring that every vegetable is packed with essential nutrients and free from harmful chemicals. Our growing methods focus on producing nutrient-dense, clean vegetables that can reduce inflammation and support a healthy microbiome.

3. How does Misted Roots support sustainability?

Misted Roots is committed to sustainability in every step of our farming process. By using aeroponic systems, we reduce water consumption by up to 90% compared to traditional farming, and our produce is grown locally, which minimizes the carbon footprint associated with food transportation. We also repurpose existing urban spaces for farming, reducing the need for new agricultural land.

4. Where can I buy Misted Roots products and produce?

Our products and produce will be available at select local grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers' markets in 2025. We are also expanding our distribution, so check back often for updates on where to find our products. If you’re interested in becoming a partner, feel free to contact us at sylvia@mistedroots.com.
