Misted Roots was born from nine years of searching for healing, for answers, and for a better way forward.
My name is Sylvia Hart, and I am the founder of Misted Roots. After struggling with chronic health issues that conventional medicine couldn't solve, I turned inward, and then outward, to understand what was really going on. The deeper I looked, the more I saw a broken medical and food system. This is the root of our disconnection from health, nature and ourselves.
What I discovered changed everything. Food isn't just fuel, it's information. It's medicine and it should heal, not harm.
Misted Roots is my answer to that realization.
We're building a pioneering indoor farm that grows clean, nutrient dense produce using advanced technology. Our produce is free of pesticides, microbiome friendly, and grown using 95% less water and significantly less energy than most traditional indoor farms.
But this is more than just vegetables and fruits. It's about restoring trust in food. It's about making gut health accessible by reimagining how we nourish our bodies. It's about how we care for the planet.
The journey to get here hasn't been linear or easy. From major pivots to funding challenges, this has tested every part of me. I have never lost sight of why I started.
This isn't just my mission. It's a movement.
