My name is Sylvia Hart, and I am the founder of Misted Roots. I have struggled for years eating vegetables and fruits that lack flavor and nutrients, yet the cost for these continue to rise. I began researching to understand what was really going on. The deeper I looked, the more I saw a broken food system.
Food isn't just fuel; it's information our body's need to thrive. It's medicine and it should heal, not harm.
Misted Roots is my answer to that realization.
We're building a pioneering indoor farm that grows clean, nutrient dense produce using advanced technology. Our produce is free of pesticides, focused on feeding our healthy microbiome, and grown using 95% less water and significantly less energy than most traditional indoor farms.
But this is more than just vegetables and fruits, it's about restoring trust in food. It's about making gut health accessible by reimagining how we nourish our bodies. It's about how we care for the planet.
This isn't just my mission. It's a movement.
